Fall Check-In

Check-in dates:
  • August 4 - Football
  • August 5 - Fall Athletes
  • August 15 - All other new international students
  • August 19 - All other first-time freshman
  • August 21 - Returning Students
More details will be sent soon about what check-in looks like!  Should you need arrive earlier, please complete the Early Arrival Request form also found on Bulldog Connect.  Approval must be obtained.  There is an additional charge to arrive before your check-in date.

Spring Check Out & Summer Check In

Non-Graduates MUST check out by 12:00pm on May 20.  Graduates MUST check out by 6:00pm on May 22. Residents who wish to stay for the summer MUST complete the Summer Housing Application - see details below!  Sign up for a check out time on the sheets outside of your RA's door.  Students checking out after May 20 should schedule an appointment by calling the RA on Duty or using this link: https://calendly.com/mcpherson-housing/30min.  Students checking into summer housing should use this same link!

Possible Fees:

  • Failure to Rearrange Furniture $50
  • Lost ID Card $10
  • Lost Access Keycard $10

  • Window Screen Replacement $50
  • Lost Room Key: $100 for re-core and $50 per key

Summer Housing and Storage Information

Summer Housing is available from May 20, 2022 through August 19, 2022 (91 days) in Lakeside Apartments, MC Houses, Deerfield Houses, and Terra Nova Apartments for $1,500 for summer charged in three $500 payments.  Rent must be paid in the Business Office by May 20, June 20, and July 20.

Storage:  Only residents in Terra Nova, Lakeside, Baer, MC Houses, and Deerfield will be able to store belongings in their assignment.  These residents MUST have lived in the assignment in the Spring and be returning to the same assignment in the Fall. Summer Storage Fee = $500 for the summer.  This is due May 20, 2022 to the Business Office.

Storage is not available on campus for residents of Dotzour, Metzler, Bittinger, and Morrison.  Residents of these buildings should plan to make arrangements to take belongings home or have them stored off campus during the summer.  Here are some local storage facilities in McPherson:

Non-Student Summer Rentals: Non-McPherson-students who are engaged in academic endeavors in McPherson for the summer are welcome to rent space from the College in the Lakeside Apartments.  McPherson College students have first opportunity to summer housing.  These guests may be subject to background checks.  These residents must pay the full amount up front.

Important Dates:

  • May 20 - Move Out for Students Not Graduating and Not Staying for the Summer
  • May 22 - Move Out for Graduating Students
  • May 28 - Move Out of Spring Assignments and Move In for Summer Residents (Students remain in Spring housing assignment until this date)
  • July 30 - Move Out of Summer Assignments and Move In to Fall Assignment
  • August 19 - Summer Charges end; Fall Charges begin
